During the 1950’s,60’s, and 70’s the Allegheny Valley had a number of small building supply yards which serviced the public. By the end of the 1980’s many of these businesses had closed, leaving contractors, municipalities, and home owners looking for a good source of construction products.

In 1991 Building Products, Inc. was founded in Sharpburg, providing the surrounding areas with quality building and landscape materials.
